Equity Put/Call Ratio Gives Bearish Reading

The 5-day moving average of the S&P 500 equity put/call ratio (available at indexindicators.com) has crossed a level that virtually assures a correction.

You can see the S&P 500 struggling - despite the call buying and generally positive sentiment - at the 1150 level that was the high in January.

I think it will pay to get shorter right now.
