The George Walker Bush Institute of Decision Theory

I'm still appalled by this:

"Is it hard to make decisions as president? Not really. If you know what you believe, decisions come pretty easy. If you’re one of these types of people that are always trying to figure out which way the wind is blowing, decision making can be difficult."

This seems pretty intuitive that people with a strong believe system have an easier time making decisions. Its also inherent in the makeup of someone, typically male, who shows a pretty good survivalist instinct to be decisive and quickly. In this comment President Bush does not make any claim about the quality of the decision just that based on his belief system he is able to be decisive. I think you have an example in the current president of someone that does not have this trait, for good or bad.

A follow up to our discussion, a quote from Jack Welch:"More often than not, business is smell, fell and touch as much as or more than numbers. If we wait for the perfect answer, the world will pass us by."
