I Like Treasuries (TLT)
For those who care about technical analysis, long-term treasuries (TLT) are solidly above the 10 EMA and showing high relative strength!
Retail and speculator sentiment are both solidly negative - and commercials are long!
Plus a positive 4.5% carry.
What's not to love?

CP,
Sure, you like 'em, but do you like 'em enough to buy 'em?
Frank Chodorov won't. He says Don't Buy Government Bonds
ps. I wonder how many, "OMG WHAT AN IDIOT, DON'T YOU KNOW THE US GOVERNMENT IS INSOLVENT?! BUY GOLD!! AND SILVER!!1111" comments you'll get with this post.
I should do a post that mentions silverbugs, nickels, Treasuries, Netflix, and Apple.
I Like Treasuries (TIPS)
I'm not quite as brave as you, but I'm close. ;)
You Say Potato (Humor)
I say potatoes and you say potatoes
I say tomatoes and you say tomatoes
I will sell when people start saying
"TREASURYS R0CK!!1!1! OMG WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FIND REAL YIELD LOL?!"

Speaking of real yields:
I tried to explain to a fellow TIPS investor on a Yahoo message board once that I'd prefer to earn 2% with 0% inflation than earn 12% with 10% inflation.
He wanted to earn the 12% though. I guess he just loves the thought of paying taxes on the inflationary gains.
Many TIPS investors seem to want higher inflation. I don't get it. All it does is hurt us. If inflation was 20% and I was earning 22% in TIPS, then I'd be seeing my purchasing power go down due to the heavy taxation.
It's a bit like buying fire insurance on my home, realizing that the premiums are just going to waste, and therefore secretly hoping arsonists move in next door!
I can't speak for others, but that does not exactly describe my mindset, lol.
Auuughh! I just realized I've been wasting insurance premiums!

If you tell two friends, and they tell two friends, and so on, and so on...
Prosperity here we come!
Down a point already on cb's comedy club bond call, lol.
Careful or you'll get a rep like Mr 13 Tommy D. Hey, did anyone notice that Tommy was showing a chart from Jan where the 13 top was followed by another 9?? I guess Tommys 13 only was in effect for 1 day and then he was bullish again, lol.
So no one has mentioned the artifical buyer purchasing 100 billion worth a month, that's slated to stop at the end of June? Or increasing inflation expectations?
CP, do you actually pull the trigger on anything you "like"?
"I like the wizard of Oz."
