Satoshi Nakamoto

Ha:

"As usual, like the guy behind the World Wide Web (Berners-Lee), discovery of DNA structure (Crick), laser (Townes), atomic bomb, transistor (Shockley), electronic computer (Atanasoff et al.), etc., etc., Nakamoto is a ..."

Its a shame physicists aren't celebrated as they should be.
My personal hero, Einstein was but he seemed to be the exception. Feynman was a little but not as much as he should have been.

Scientists and physicists ARE the real drivers of the human race. They have produced the ever increasing quality of life we enjoy these days. Yet the public still finds ball chasers and those that recite lines in a movie more fascinating. There is no justice in it. Its just the way it is.

Well, if they're so smart, making a killing in the markets should be a breeze. They should be able to take care of themselves quite nicely.

Same story, though, with the rest of the exaltation of STEM majors -- if you got nothing to put in your brilliantly designed new box, it's not going to be worth anything. It takes all sorts, though I'd love to see a little more outrage at movie stars and ball players to go along with the raging at business moguls.
