Krugmanomics

I often forget that Paul Krugman has a Nobel Prize in Economics, only to be jolted back into awareness when reading some awful piece of his, such as:

• California is failing because its taxes are too low, or
• (in 2002) Alan Greenspan needs to create a housing bubble to replace the Nasdaq bubble.

Truly, the dismal science.
