GMX Resources Exec Resigns ($GMXR)

"On August 20, 2012, Timothy L. Benton, one of the named executive officers of GMX Resources Inc. (the "Company") for purposes of this Item 5.02, provided notice of resignation, effective August 21, 2012, from his position as the Company's Executive Vice President - Geosciences, upon accepting a new role in the industry. Mr. Benton's responsibilities will be absorbed by our current managers and staff of petroleum engineers and geoscientists in Operations and Geosciences."
