Trouble Looming for Netflix (NFLX)

Amazon.com acquired the shares of Lovefilm (the European version of Netflix) that it did not already own. There were reports that the deal valued Lovefilm at about $300 million.

"I'm hearing that Comcast is already preparing to pull NBC Universal's programming from Netflix when it's next up for review," Franken said. The cable industry is worried about the threat from cheaper options like Netflix; "they aren't stupid and they want to shut it down."

Looks like NFLX bears will have to wait a while longer.

And the people who run NFLX are undoubtedly not stupid, and will not be sitting on their hands.

Again another comment of mine on another post has disappeared. Annoying.
