But was it the dumbest thing you've seen in the internet?

That's the real test.

When you consider the amount of real money changing hands, it beats a lot of stuff that may have been superficially dumber sounding.

Real money? What's real money?

Like the money they spent painting the tape.

Still no news about the NYSE appeal hearing but at least they have $263,910,599 coming into the accounts receivable.

http://www.youngchinabiz.com/en/end-draws-near-for-suntech-shareholders/

Suntech could formally be dissolved by the end of this month, and its shares are likely to creep downward before final terms of its liquidation are announced in the next 1-2 weeks.

Moronic youngchinabiz article. Doesn't understand a capital structure.

There seemed to be minor resistance at .35 cents. If STPFQ falls below its 52 week low of .30 cents (possibly following the liquidation meeting this week or the Chpt 15 filing next week), then it could have another 25-33% fall to 20 cents. Any idea when the Scheme of Arrangement terms may be announced (i.e. when the price will below 10 cents)?

It looks like impatient shorts are the ones maintaining the price with orders to cover.

As soon as they are filled, there shouldn't be anything propping it up anymore.

Good volume in the bonds on Friday with a price around 10.

Wonder if anyone is actually buying or if Clearwater and Spinnaker are just playing hot potato with each other.

It was just one $200k trade. I wonder who thinks they are worth 10?

Some more volume today with a few trades over a million around the same price level.

Looks like Clearwater/Spinnaker?

They own so much debt they probably wouldn't be able to sell it.
