"NAPE EXPO Pittsburgh Canceled for 2015"

Just came over the wire:

"I am announcing the suspension of the NAPE expo in Pittsburgh previously scheduled for April 15-16, 2015. With the substantial negative impact that the drop in oil prices has had on our industry, we feel it is in the best interest of all of our customers to suspend the event this year. Depending on the length and severity of our industry’s downturn, we will evaluate at a later date the future of a NAPE event in Pittsburgh."

Recall the 2013 Denver NAPE. I have to say that we basically called the top in oil based on that:

"On the ground at the expo, it looked like oil is near the top of the cycle. Private jet booths. Huge attendance with everyone bringing extraneous people just to get drunk and have fun."

Not that we shorted it, but the conference admission was well spent.
